Tabitha Reeise – Education Coordinator North

Image of Tabitha Reeice INACE Education CoordinatorTabitha Reeise joined the Nurse Aide Testing staff in the Office of Workforce Innovation and Research at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2021. Tabitha began her career in health care as a certified nursing assistant and worked in the field for several years before becoming a registered nurse. She believes nursing assistants are a vital part of the care team and imperative to quality care provided to residents and patients. Tabitha is passionate about providing support and guidance to program coordinators and instructors, understanding they are the cornerstone of a successful training program. Tabitha is responsible for conducting clinical site visits in the Northern Region under the direction of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), developing and updating training materials, and coordinating, co-hosting, and/or presenting at nurse aide workshops and conferences across the state. She is a certified nursing assistant educator and Train the Trainer instructor. She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing, with a concentration in nursing education, from SIU Edwardsville. She lives in central Illinois with her husband, and two children.
