Mary L. Corry has joined the staff of the Nurse Aide Testing Project in the Department of Workforce Education and Development at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Mary has been a registered nurse for 18 years and has her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Indiana State University. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Nursing Education at McKendree University.
Mary Corry was the Program Coordinator for Olney Central College for the past eight years and has served on the Illinois Department of Public Health Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program Advisory Committee for the past five years. Her role as Education Coordinator is to coordinate education programs and workshops for the BNATP throughout Central and Southern regions of Illinois. She is also responsible for working with IDPH to conduct on-site evaluations of classroom and clinical programs.
Mary has also served as the secretary to the Southern Region CNA Educator’s Committee for the past eight years and is excited to be working with instructors and program coordinators throughout the state of Illinois.
